From barren fields to blooming hope, we’re restoring Haryana’s green lungs with every tree we plant.
In 2015, when the trees of Dighal village were cut down during a land reform, it wasn’t just greenery that was lost, it was identity, balance, and breath. At Nirmal Mann NGO, we refused to let that be the end of the story. The Oxygen Bagh Project began as a fight to reclaim nature, and today, it stands as a growing forest of resilience.
With over 4,000 trees planted in Dighal and 6 acres of green cover revived in Chulyana, we’re proud to lead one of the most impactful tree plantation initiatives in Haryana. Join us in rewriting the future, leaf by leaf.
The Oxygen Bagh Project began not in celebration, but in response to destruction.
Back in 2015, the government’s “Kila Bandhi” land redistribution exposed villages to an unexpected environmental threat. As people were assigned their rightful land, many, driven by profit, cut down flourishing trees to sell as timber. In a matter of weeks, Dighal’s rich green heritage was stripped bare.
As a deeply rooted environmental NGO in India, Nirmal Mann refused to stay silent. What others saw as the end, we saw as a beginning.
We launched Oxygen Bagh with a simple goal: plant more trees, restore what was lost. Since then, our passionate team of 15 has led successful plantations in:
Over 4,000 trees now stand tall as symbols of revival.
6 acres of previously unused land now breathe life again.
As a growing NGO for planting trees in Haryana, our focus is long-term, not just greenery, but a shift in mindset, habits, and community responsibility.
We often forget that trees are our planet’s original oxygen cylinders. They purify air, prevent soil erosion, cool the environment, and support biodiversity.
Our mission is more than beautification, it’s climate action, health restoration, and community awakening. With every sapling planted, we’re:
Combating rising temperatures
Reversing human-caused damage
Inspiring rural participation in environmental conservation
We are proud to be recognized as a leading Environmental Trust NGO in India, but our real pride lies in watching bare land turn green again.
No mission can grow without hands to nurture it.
Our dedicated team of 15 changemakers includes field workers, volunteers, and environmentalists who work tirelessly, often in harsh weather, to ensure each tree takes root.
With every plantation drive, we also engage local villagers and youth, strengthening their bond with the land and turning them into protectors of their environment. This is what sets us apart as a tree plantation NGO rooted in community values.
